A travel group in Hong Kong, as an influential group company, deeply realizes the importance of the network for its business operations. In order to improve work efficiency and ensure smooth progress, the company wants to bring convenience through network transformation. The company has more than 300 employees and belongs to a medium to large enterprise network. Therefore, engineers have designed and constructed the network according to the actual situation of the company.
The overall network of this project adopts an efficient flat-layer two-tier switch network architecture of "core + access", which simplifies the network structure, improves network performance, enhances scalability, reduces costs, improves reliability, facilitates management, and supports flexible network policies. Through this architecture, enterprises can better cope with changing business needs and technical challenges, and enhance overall competitiveness.
Structurally, the data center core has a 10G dual link interconnecting with the data center firewall, with a 40G connection to the server access switch. The office network core switch is connected to the data center firewall through a 10G optical cable link aggregation, and communicates with the office network as needed through the firewall. The office network core is connected to the floor switch through a 10G link, and the floor is designed with multiple Gigabit access switches to provide Gigabit desktop access to the information points in the building. This structural design enhances the office network speed, bringing high bandwidth and low latency network topology design to the enterprise.
